Who we are
Smart Sheepies is an educational maths game made by Bodanius ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to information when you or your child play Smart Sheepies on Android.
Information we collect
None. Smart Sheepies does not ask for a name, email address, age, location, photos, contacts or any other personal information, and it does not use device identifiers or advertising IDs.
Game progress saved on the device
To let players carry on where they left off, the game saves its progress on the device itself. This includes the chosen difficulty, coins in the purse, items found, the sheep's outfit and settings such as currency and sound. This information never leaves the device and is not sent to us or to anyone else. It is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android settings. If Android backup is switched on for your device, Android may include this saved progress in your own Google backup, which Google manages.
No adverts, purchases or third-party services
The app contains no advertising, no in-app purchases and no third-party analytics or tracking tools. It works offline and does not need an internet connection to play.
Children
Smart Sheepies is designed for children. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children. The app complies with the Google Play Families Policy, and with the requirements of laws such as the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK Age Appropriate Design Code and the GDPR as they apply to an app that processes no personal data.
Permissions
The app does not request access to the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or files.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy (for example, if we ever add sign-in), we will update this policy and the date at the top before that version is released.
